Yes, you can make reservations for any event at any time, if there is still availability. You will need to make the first payment followed monthly payments.

Once you make your reservation, you will receive an invoice. Your invoice will list your monthly payment plan. This is set up by default to charge your credit card every month, or you can choose to turn off the automatic monthly billing option.

You can make monthly payments several ways. Many of our clients are on auto-pay. You will also receive emails monthly regarding your payments and there will be a link to view your invoice and make a payment if needed.

All payments to Sapphire Getaways are non-refundable and non-transferable. This is because Sapphire Getaways has contractual agreements with hotels, airlines and other travel vendors that will not allow us to obtain any refunds after booking. This way we can keep our package prices low and allow you to make monthly payments on your vacation.

Reasons to Purchase Travel Insurance

Here are some examples of could cause you to cancel your trip, return home early or force you to seek emergency medical treatment while traveling. Here are some examples of what could go wrong.

We suggest travel insurance to all of our clients just in case the “what if” happens to you. Please strongly consider travel protection coverage when you purchase any travel package. It’s better to have insurance and not need it, than to need it and not have it! Having travel insurance will protect your investment and give you peace of mind. Of course, we found during this COVID-19 pandemic that insurance companies were not approving claims due to COVID-19; however, the cancel for any reason insurance will allow you to cancel due to COVID-19 or any other reasons. We understand that priorities shift in the wake of a crisis which might put a financial strain on some guests – if you are unable to keep up with your monthly payments during this time, please send us an email and we can rearrange your payments schedule to enable you to catch up with your payments at a better time.

We understand that circumstances change, you will be responsible for finding a new roommate or you must pay the additional cost for the room occupancy change.

Currently, we do not offer roommate matching.

If your roommate cancels their reservations, your invoice will be updated to reflect the package price according to the new occupancy in your room.

Visas, Passports, and Health Requirements

All travelers are responsible for to ensuring they are in possession of all necessary travel and health documents before departure. The costs incurred in obtaining such documentation or in meeting any health procedures or requirements are not included in the quoted cost of the trip, and each traveler must individually pay the costs. Sapphire Getaways is not responsible should you be refused entry into any country or refused for travel on any transportation due to failure on your part to carry all the required documentation, or for reasons due to your own government policies regarding the trip’s destination(s). If this refusal of entry results in fines, surcharges, or other financial penalties being imposed on Sapphire Getaways, you will be responsible for reimbursing accordingly.

A delay may cause you to cancel your transportation (flight, train, bus, etc.) with the transportation entity/company concerned, however your journey with us is not canceled. Sapphire Getaways will not issue refunds or make payment of any kind to you in respect of any transportation delay or cancellation, downgrading of any ticket or denial of any boarding.

Anyone who chooses to travel with us has a duty of care for themselves and the people around them. We insist that all our travelers comply with local regulations and laws, as well as our own health and safety guidelines, to ensure that everyone can enjoy this group adventure while minimizing the risk of the spread of COVID-19. In addition, each destination has its own vaccination, testing and health screening requirements for entry, exit and transit. Some aspects of your tour experience might be impacted by local restrictions such as businesses operating at reduced hours and/or reduced capacity. In some rare cases, we may need to adjust the itinerary. Restrictions and itinerary adjustments will be communicated to travelers before departure.
